Interchange under the radar again…

The battle over the interchange continues… The subject inspired a good deal of controversy over the past couple of years and continue its way to Congress. Merchant associations are fighting to bring the cost of credit card acceptance down every year by lobbying House members to craft a legislation which finally would regulate credit card processing fees. The National Retail Federation senior vice president Mallory Duncan called me after reading my book and agreed with my ideas about how the regulation should look. I am surprised that there is nothing in the main media about this interesting news…except some minor articles in the newspapers.
