In the last couple of days we are witnessing the collapse of the socialistic system in Greece. The outrageous pension plans and salaries of the government and union workers were well exceeding the salaries of those who worked in the private sector. As a result there were more beneficiaries of the system than those who were contributing to it. On the top of that Greek government continued spending money in the fast pace knowing that one day they would not be able to pay back the debt they created and face bankruptcy. And all of that in the name of power that they gained by rewarding their electorate and unions that voted for them in each election. Mark Levin described exactly what happens when the government has too much power in his book “Liberty and Tyranny” in this words:”The Founders understood that the greatest threat to liberty is an all-powerful central government, where the few dictate to the many. They also knew that the rule of the mob would lead to anarchy and, in the end, despotism.” And this is exactly what happened in Greece. That is why we need to have a separation of powers and the government that is strictly limited by the Constitution. Otherwise we’ll face the the same fate as Greeks after some time.
Is President Obama leading us in that direction? We can clearly say that the answer is “yes”. The transformation of America continues; the spending exceeds under this administration; national debt rises to unprecedented size; government expands as never before; welfare programs like Medicare ,Medicaid and Social Security are facing bankruptcy, new class of citizens depending on government handouts rises; and finally the administration seizes the private sector by nationalizing the auto industry, taking control of the health care therefore being responsible directly for our physical well being, reforming financial industry and regulating energy. On the top of that we can observe lawlessness as never before where the federal government does not respect and enforce it’s own rules and regulations when it comes to immigration. Off course you may say that America is not Greece but clearly we are heading in the same direction. It may not happen in a year or two but in a decade or two when we’ll be facing similar problems. The conclusion is only one; socialism in any form does not work and destroys the society. It’s been tried and tried but the results are always the same: few benefits and many suffers. Socialism spreads misery equally instead of lifting everybody up,, socialism destroys opportunity instead of creating it, it destroys the private property rights and confiscates the wealth instead of creating it and it never creates productive jobs instead redistributes fruits of production in very unequal way.

I was coming back home this evening and as usual I had my radio on listening to Mark Levin on 770 WABC. Most of his show Mark talked about the immigration, its impact on our society and the immigration bill that just passed in Arizona. Many liberals as I watched some news and read some newspapers view this bill as a violation of the illegal aliens civil rights and they say that it may lead to violence. Here’s what I think about the immigration and especially the illegal immigration.
Imagine a burglar braking in to your home. A burglar, who after braking in first feels unsecured and steals only some of your valuables. After he is not caught the first time around he comes back with his friends and takes more of your goods. But this time he does not leave that fast. He stays in your home when you are on vacation or at work and use your personal space invading your privacy and braking the law, violating your civil rights. He takes your personal space, part of your freedom. When you come back to your home, the place that you love and care so much for, you can’t recognize it anymore. Most of your goods is gone, the furniture is broken, the outside of your home is destroyed, floor is partially burned and electricity does not work. That’s exactly what the illegal immigration is doing to America. It is destroying it! Those aliens are braking in to this great country illegally, they are invading our communities, stealing our jobs, abusing our educational and health care systems and destroying our communities by driving down our home values. Yes, not only they are breaking the law by sneaking through our borders but also they destroy our economy and destabilize our society! Whatever money they can make here they send to their home countries weakening our markets. They destabilize our society by abusing our educational system driving up our taxes. They destroy our health care by using it for free although forcing hospitals out of business. And they demand their rights threatening us by lawsuits with the help from liberals! Don’t we have more rights in our own country? Let me tell you where their rights are – they rights are in their home countries and in jail.
Lets enforce the immigration laws that are already in place and finally take back our country!

For years local authorities across the country and the federal government were not enforcing immigration laws in America. Local governments often were afraid to enforce the immigration law of this great country often threatened by various ethnic groups by potential lawsuits. Many of those who raised the voice against that trend were called racists or other names. It appears to me that illegal immigrants have more rights in this country than citizens of the U.S. But the truth is that the law does not pick on any individuals or ethnic groups. It simply states that if you are in this country illegally you broke the law regardless of your background or ethnicity and you should be deported. It is the same thing with traffic tickets. If you do not have a driver license you shouldn’t be driving and you face the fines either financial or jail, so if you do not have a proper documentation that you can legally stay in America you shouldn’t be here.
Over the years nobody tried even to deal with the immigration problem up until now. The great state of Arizona finally decided to do something about the illegal immigration which causes a great problem in American society. What are those problems? Lets analyze some of them.
Many individuals who stay in this country entered it illegally and enjoy great benefits that America has to offer. They start families, do not pay taxes, send money back to their native countries weakening American economy and use our school systems for free. It drives the taxes up for every citizen of the state that the population of the illegal immigrants is high – like for example New Jersey. Illegals are for the most parts beneficiaries of our school system, medicaid programs and many others government run programs. Who are the contributors? American citizens. Illegals use our free health care like medicaid and other different government programs without contributing to the society. If illegals work and majority of them do, they never pay taxes and they still enjoy benefits of the free health care. Hospitals and especially emergency rooms have to treat every patient that walks into their door – that’s the law – and when illegals show up they have to be treated. I have nothing against it but there is one thing. At the end we, the tax payers are stuck with the hospital bills or the hospitals are being closed due to outstanding bills that they can’t collect. Illegal immigration destroys our society. Illegals never pay their hospital bills and get always everything for free.
American constitution clearly says that not every person born in the United Sates become its citizen. Only person born from people subjected to the jurisdiction of the states becomes a citizen but some democrats interpret it differently and that’s where the problem begun in the first place. Most illegal aliens are not subjected to the american law nor do they obey it. They are breaking it by entering this country illegaly and by not paying taxes.
http://www.usconstitution.net/xconst_Am14.html

We have two immigration problems – illegal immigration and legal immigration. I would deal with the illegals by sending them back to their countries. Those who entered this country legally and overstayed should pay financial fines and we should somehow legalize them. For the most parts those immigrants who entered this country legally are able to provide some kind of valid documents clarifying their status here. Those who entered it illegally can’t provide it.

Lets enforce the law that we already have, lets deal with the illegal immigration just as with people who brake the law without any excuses. If only federal government would enforce the laws that we already have we would not have as many problems in our society as we are facing today.,
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/04/27/national/main6436027.shtml

In today’s harsh world of politics it is very common to give up some benefits to your electorat in exchange for their votes. Not suprisingly, in New Jersey, the state that I live in, which has been blue for many years this practice was very common especially for democrats. As a result the state of New Jersey has one of the highest taxes in the nation and the most expensive toll roads. Interestingly, it may not be enough to balance the budget this year, unless Gov. Chris Christie will be succesfull with his fight against teachers unions and be able to make cuts in school budgets.
Here’s the story that I would like to share with you. Over a year ago, my wife decided to run for a school board position in my home town. We had very little support from our friends and most of the time it was me who was walking door to door trying to introduce the candidacy of my wife to local people. There was seven candidates who run for three positions, including two incumbants. We won. It was a great victory for a first time runner and soon after we decided to fight against cronyizm and nepotism that was widely accepted in our school system. We found out that many positions in our schools were created for friends and families of our school board members, positions which salaries well exceeded even some teachers salaries. Some people on those positions were not even qualified for the job. For example, we have a registrar who registers 100 children a year for salary of more than $80,000 with full benefits and excellent pension plan ( it is a board member’s wife) or teachers aids who made around $30,000 a year working just part time with full health benefits. Another example is a janitor who makes $120,000 salary and gets full state benefits. There are many more examples just like these. This year we helped to run a compaing for three new candidates for a school board and two of them won the election. It’ll be a very interesting two years. There is a lot cuts to be made in our school administrative positions and benefits plans and we’ll have to face teachers unions as well. Many teachers if not most of them are strong supporters of a democratic party which in a first palce gave up so much in pension plans and benefits to teachers unions in exchange for their support in each election. And this is where first major problem arised. In years, those pension plans and benefits systematically were going up, and there was nobody who could put stop to it. I applaud Gov. Christie for standing up against those unions who just demand more and do not do their jobs. Recent student test that was done in New Jersey showed how poorly our teachers perform to educate our children with some exceptions, and they demand more benefits, higher salaries and better pension plans. Most of them are tenures , have a secure job position and pension plan and no incentive to perform on the job, and it is very difficult to change that. And what do those teachers do to educate our children? Most of our students can’t even pass the basic tests not mentioning about going to ivy league schools. Couple of days ago I walked into one of the schools in my town and was astounded of what I saw. Only two teachers out of maybe twenty were actually trying to teach the students where the rest of the classes were mostly sleeping or simply playing games or talking to each other, and I can assure you that it was not a part of a curriculum. Teachers were simply not teaching! I encourage you to go to your own schools and visit them during the school hours just to see for yourself what the public education looks like nowadays. In my opinion public education failed. It is time to stop that. And here’s what we can do:
1. Get away with tenures from now on.
2. Shift the cost of health care banefits partially to teachers or drop their coverage and offer them new- free “Obama Care”
3. Raise the salaries for those teachers who perform and produce good educated students rewarding them with some kind of bonuses at the end of the year. There should be enough money in the budget to do that after droping the coverage and reducing pension plans. It is difficult but not imposibble to do.
4. Implement pension plans caps just like President Obama tried to do with salary caps for financial executives.

There is more we can do, but it depends on the individual districts.

How can we do that? Since we already have the “Obama Care” it would be more beneficial for every school baord in New Jersey to drop the expensive private insurance that teachers currently have, and pay $750 fine to the government and let teachers sign up for free government run health care since we are paying for it anyway through our taxes. You can’t do it in just one district because you may lose good teachers and your children may not get a good education. It has to be done accross the state, so teachers will have no choice but to stay in their districts or move to different part of the country, and most will stay. Second, get involved in the elections and maybe even run for a school board position. There is a lot of waste that needs to be cut - like special positions created for family members and friends of those who are on the board for many years, and many utility contracts that need to be renegotiated.
The abuse of power is not only in our local districts but also on the state level. But lets start in our local communities. That’s where the real change begins, not on the top in Washington, not in the middle on the state level but in our own home towns, in our own communities.
I’d like to have a job just like some state workers and enjoy the full pension plan, full benefits and be tenured and not to worry about the next morning when even when I lose my job I’ll get paid my salary or a good part of it. Who is going to pay for my health care and contribute to my pension plan when I’ll be fired? It’s time to end this abuse of our society, end those never ending tax increases to satisfy the unions to win their votes and come to a conlcusion that our society needs to be fairly balanced with individual responsibility with salaries paid accordingly to education and difficulty of the position that one serves in hierachy of our society.
Lets get involved in the next election and actively fight to change the course of this nation on our local, state and national levels.

President Obama nationalized auto industry, health care industry and now the time has come to “reform” Wall Street. Day by day this government is invading our private lives and trying to take control over our decisions and more government agencies are created just for one purpose – to destroy the private sector and collect more money for unsustainable state programs. Here’s more news: In the near future every credit card processor and bank doing merchant services will have to report to the IRS merchants earnings from every credit and debit card transaction. Do you know what it means? It means that the government not only will have control over you health care and finances through the regulatory reforms that already have taken place but also will be able to closely monitor your day to day activities, what you are buying and where, how much you spend and so forth through your credit card transaction detailed information that processors will have to share with the IRS. Soon after the Wall Street reform we’ll face a new regulation – Cap and Trade that will drive up our energy costs that is why this upcoming election is so important.

As predicted, H.R 627 will have a huge impact on our economy. How’s that so? Here’s what Jamie Dimon CEO of JP Morgan Chase has to say about the bill in the letter to shareholders: “By all measures, 2009 was a terrible year for our credit card business”… “in the future, we will no longer be offering credit cards to approximately 15% of the customers to whom we currently offer them” – due to the changes imposed by the law.
Just imagine what an impact it will have on card industry, lending and banking! 15% less spending and 15% less credit available on the entire U.S market assuming that other banks have to cut credit to same percentage of their customers and aproximately 15% less profit for every major bank. Small businesses will feel the impact of this law in the near future as weel as American families who strongly relied on easy access to credit funds. You’ve done it again Mr. President! the war against free enterprise in in a full force. I can’t wait to see a very first credit card issued by the U.S government.. the time will come for this just like for the student loans…

Is it worth to pursue a carrier in medicine nowadays? Lets analyze that. Average yearly salary of the family doctor after finishing medicine is about 80k. It goes up to 120k in the next couple of years of practicing medicine and to around 150-180k after 7 years in practice, and most likely stays there. No pension plans unless you contribute to your own, no health care benefits – you need to purchase your own which may be very expensive, and finally huge school loans to pay off. Medicine and especially a family medicine is the most demanding field. Average reimbursement rate for a doctors visit paid by the insurance companies including government run insurances like Amerigroup or Americhoice is around $35 per visit and with the health care bill that just passed and was signed into law those rates will most likely go down. Where is the incentive for our young people to encourage them to go into medicine?
Malpractice insurance goes up every year and it will continue to go up. With increased exposure to more patients the possibility of law suit is becoming greater, and office overhead including medical equipment and office staff decreases doctor’s profits. On the top of that doctors need to fight with the insurance companies to get paid for patients that they already seen due to rapid changes in the medical coding and billing practices. Life of a doctor is not easy knowing that they may lose their medical license and life hood due to one law suit. Their mind does not rest and for 365 days every minute of day they can’t leave their job behind thinking about decisions they face every time they see a patient. Every time the phone rings the question arises: should I take this call? – knowing the liability that doctors face. What did this bill do to address this issues? Where is the TORT reform? This legislation by adding additional 30 mln people to doctors panel and by giving everybody a ”right” to health care exposed doctors to bigger liability and more potential law suits. This bill was created by the trial lawyers for the trial lawyers, and in conjunction with the electronic medical records will discourage students from going into medicine. We already have a shortage of doctors in this country and growing demand for family practitioners. We’ll see more and more foreign doctors coming into this country and less born and educated Americans who will want to pursue a carrier in medicine.

Here’s what needed to be done to insure the uninsured and fix health care problems:

1. Extend Medicaid coverage so people with higher income would qualify for it.
2. Eliminate defensive medicine practices by including TORT reform in the bill.
3. Implement fraud prevention in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
4. Open state borders for insurance companies to drive the cost of insurance down.
5. Get away with pre-existing conditions.

None of those points were addressed in that bill except pre-existing conditions. The bill that President Obama signed into law empowered the federal government to gain more control over U.S. citizens, their decision making when it comes to health care and finally their finances. I hope that this bill bill will be repealed in after the upcoming election and new one will be created to address the real problems in our health care.

Health care bill became a law today… It’s hard to imagine that every citizen of the United States is mandated to buy a health care insurance just because he or she was born here or face a penalty…Where’s the freedom of choice? The very next thing we’ll know that will be mandated is that we’ll be required to read Manifesto of the Communist Party in our public schools and watch President speaking for one hour a day… This legislation was a huge step in socializing- transforming America through heavy progressive and graduated income tax that is in that bill, centralization of powers in the federal government and it does very little to resolve the health care problems. We are forced to buy health care insurance and through that directly enrich the government to make decisions for us, rather than make decisions for our own benefit. Yes, this administration knows better what is good for us, our children and grandchildren!
Next thing will be Cap and Trade – job killer; than regulation or take over our financial sector; and finally confiscation of private property because as a result of heavy taxation and lack of jobs people will not be able to keep their homes. America – all this is coming soon. The Obama transformation continues…

President Obama has a new plan to boost up the economy. But is his intension really to help or to make another step to gain more control over the financial institutions like small community banks? Our community banks are successful because they are for the most part very conservative with their lending decisions. If this program will pass another government agency will be created – Small Business Lending Fund. What will be the purpose of such an agency? In my opinion this agency’s role will be to punish those banks who after taking the money from the fund will not lend under the rule of the agency. Community banks who will take the money from the government will have to loose their lending practices and in time they will be on the road to fail just like Fannie May and Freddie Mac. Great effort by the President to nationalize the banking industry through small potentially not harmful regulations. We do not need more funds to be able to lend money! Banks have enough funds to lend money to small businesses without this agency, but in this economy, where nobody knows what’s going to happen tomorrow, nobody wants to take risks. Even merchants instead of hiring people cut on staff due to plummeting job market. Mr. President, create some jobs first please so people can pay off the money that you want to lend to them and stop trying to influence community bank executives to change their practices. They are surviving this hard times without your advice and they do not need to be told how and when to lend money. The best way to create jobs is to give tax cuts to big companies so they can start coming back to U.S. from China, Taiwan, Mexico and other parts of the world. If this nation will not produce and sell, unemployement rate of 12%-15% may be here for a long time. We need to produce and sell to the world so capital will be coming in not leaving the U.S.

Before H.R 627 become a law only consumers who used their credit cards irresponsibly were penalized by rates increases or late fees, and rightly so. Others have seen rate increases very rarely. As a result of this bill, every carholder is being penalized for irresponsible behavior of those who were unable to pay monthly minimums on balances, paid late or consciously stated on the application that they have more income to get access to more credit funds.Carholders when applying for a credit line voluntarily commit to keep the contractual obligations that both parties agree for. If you do not know how to use a credit card do not apply for one. You’ll save problems for yourself and others.
